Zieglers Backstube in Horb am Neckar

"Backstube" is pretty deep; "Bistro" is at least correct (but has an ambiguous 1980s charm in the word that Ziegler did not deserve), "Self-service restaurant" is perhaps a shade too high. In any case, I am enthusiastic about the selection, freshness and friendliness. Particularly cute: payment machines collect and spit out change while the sales staff prepares the ordered goods. This speeds up the process, shortens the waiting time for the following customers and also prevents the same hands behind the counter from touching money and food - clever!

Breakfast is delicious and generous, you get full. Well-prepared food, the eyes eat too. There is also free WiFi - also a plus. The sales force was friendly and patient. I also liked the payment system (with machines), which is fast, and also the beeper that you get at the table and thus prevents long queues at the counter. We didn't wait long, even though there was a lot going on during the week. The seats inside are nice and the atmosphere cozy. The only negative are the sometimes really high prices.

Unfortunately in a not very good location, a shame for such a cozy town. The cake is good though.

Tables in the outside area are forever the tip tip not yet cleaned by our staff. Floor in the inside area was also a bit dirty. No Topa on the toilet, staff does not look for it. The bakery Ziegler is located in a top location in Horb, you feel right at home if you want to have a coffee or something on the spot, the ladies at the bar were super cheerful and friendly. The coffee itself was too watery for me, but it's a matter of taste.
